this is an attempt to keep friends and family involved in my adventures, trials, tests, tribulations, experiences, emotions and life. while i don't always portray what i intend, learning is a part of life and something i don't intend on ceasing anytime soon. whether it be through friends or strangers, i am constantly searching for knowledge and a better way to live my life. be the change you want to see in others (i believe someone important said that).

so, today was a typical day at work but what made today so special was being able to spend time with friends. dustin cooked dinner and let me tell you, it was delicious. quesadillas were on the menu but these 'dillas were made with horseradish cheese, small potatoes, siracha, black beans and avocado.

after cleaning and doing dishes brian and dave met at the house and off we went to iroquois park to play disc golf. iroquois is the closest disc golf course to my house so i have adopted it as my own. and lets face it, i am a south end boy at heart! the heat index was over 100 and it sure felt like it! i was throwing very well and even had a couple birdies. when playing all holes as par threes, i will take two birds any day! the one shot that stands out in my mind was my drive on 13. i threw my innova starfire even with the cage, but about 15 yards right. although i ruined my bird i was still stoked because i haven't driven like that in awhile. i changed my grip on the disc and it has knocked 4-5 strokes of my round! i really could play two rounds a day, everyday for the rest of my life.

so, after leaving the park we went back to dustins and brewster had arrived home from work. what would a good summer night be without a "nightcap" game of croquet?!? thank you brewster for introducing me to the competitive lawn game that on occasion occupies my mind at night. yes, i dream of croquet. i admit it.

back at home now laying in my bed, getting ready to dose off. tomorrow brings another day of work and school. i will tell you more about my job later along with school. both of those activities take up a majority of my waking time so i believe it is important that i talk about them and give them the attention the deserve.

i am new to this world so be patient. i am confident that my posts will become more entertaining and engaging in time.
